Untied States Pharmacopeia (USP), Rockville, MD, has created new monographs for cat’s claw and is publishing revisions made to new pygeum monographs. All of these new monographs are available for review in USP’s May–June 2004 edition of Pharmacopeial Forum (PF) vol. 30(3). The newly created monographs are cat’s claw, powdered cat’s claw, powdered cat’s claw extract, cat’s claw capsules, cat’s claw tablets, pygeum, pygeum extract and pygeum capsules.
